KDY-20-D900/2P(8/20µs)
KDY-20-D900/2P type 2 solar PV surge arresters/SPD is designed to protect DC powered equipments against lightning surge voltages in photovoltaic power supply network, such as inverters, combiner boxes and charge controllers. It utilizes high energy metal oxide varistors/MOV, providing a protection in CM/DM(L-PE, N-PE, L-N).

*Installation Notes
- Installation must be performed only by electrically skilled operator.
- Disconnect power before installing, no hot-line operation is allowed, and better to under the guidance of professional electrician.
- For best performance, mount protector in parallel with the equipment it is protecting as close as possible. (*Note: If protector is to be located outdoors and exposed to elements, mount protector inside a suitable weatherproof enclosure.)
- Use a circuit breaker in series with the protector.(*Note: if a breaker is not available, use a fused disconnect switch or a fuse block. Fuses should be time-delay type.)
- Green tab, normal work status, Red tab, failure status, need to be replaced rapidly.
