KEJIA® KDY-I-15RX surge protective device has large current capacity and is a T1 class voltage limiting primary power surge protective device, it has the characteristics of no freewheeling, reliable performance and stable operation。According to the lightning protection principle, after the lightning energy is released once, there is still a high residual voltage on the power line. The lightning energy shall be released step by step through the cooperation of the post surge protector of the lightning protection system, so as to effectively protect the terminal electrical equipment.
When using the KEJIA® KDY-I-15RX surge protective device,power protection module is partially connected in parallel between the protected end and the ground (L1, L2, L3, N, and PE) lines. It is installed using DIN35 rails and can be installed in power distribution boxes and various standard cabinets. During partial wiring of SPD communication module, the working power terminal must be connected to the protection side of the power lightning protector, the sampling transformer should be connected in series in the down lead of the lightning protector, and the remote signaling terminal should be connected to the remote signaling contact of the power lightning protector to indicate the failure status of the power lightning protector. The RS-485 serial communication terminal should be connected to the remote intelligent management unit or the integrated automation system 485 bus (background host computer). The key operation and communication method of the NKP-LJ-04 SPD communication module are also shown in its user manual.

Installation: 35mm DIN guide rail, EN60715 standard.

When using surge protective device, there must be reliable PE grounding.

The KDY-I-15RX/440/3P is designed for TN-C three-phase four-wire systems;
The KDY-I-15RX/440/2P is designed for single-phase two-wire/three-wire systems.
