Installation & Application（安装应用） KDY-I-12.5 is T1 class power surge protective device, which designed by IEC&GB standard. The product has high lightning discharge capacity, and the maximum current capacity of a single module is greater than 12.5kA (10 / 350), which can prevent various surges including direct lightning. It is applied to the T1 class lightning protection of power supply of equipment system in areas with high risk（LPZ0A or LPZ0B &LPZ1 junction area）.
KDY-I-12.5 surge protective device have no freewheeling, to avoid the power failure of common gap SPD immediately after arc extinguishing, and no leakage current. It has 35mm standard guide rail installation mode, and each module occupies two standard installation positions, which is easy to install and maintain.
Attention:
a、 Failure indication：window displays red
b、 All the exposed copper part of wiring should to add the insulating sleeve, the wiring connecting surge protective device must be as short as possible
c、 It can only be used under specified conditions, if the given value is exceeded, the surge protector itself or equipment may be damaged;
d、 The user shall take full responsibility for the quality problems caused by the user’s unauthorized disassembly of products or unreasonable use
